So that you can buy safely we have chosen the SSL (Secure Socket Layers) secure payment system, one of the most reliable systems on the Internet.
This extremely effective technology encrypts your bank details when you enter them and prevents them from being decrypted while they are transferred to SAFERPAY'S secure server.

All the stages of payment between the purchaser and SAFERPAY are fully encrypted and protected. The protocol used is SSL coupled with electronic banking techniques.
This means that information linked to the order and your bank card number do not travel across the Internet in open form.
Your bank card number is not printed on any paper, invoice, credit card slip or in any other form.
The merchant does not see card numbers.
SAFERPAY does not store the numbers on its server.

In addition, no-one has access to shoppers’ bank card details either in computer or printed form.

WARNING

3D SECURE CODE:
For reasons to do with the security of your transactions when making purchases via the Internet, some Banks now require a “3D SECURE” code (the actual name depending on your own bank).
This additional code means that your bank can ensure that the person making the purchase via the Internet is actually the holder of the bank card.
We advise contacting your bank to obtain this code specially designed for Internet transactions. Of course, this code is NEVER communicated to us; no more than is your bank card number.

New 3D secure standard: how the change affects you.
In order to improve the security of transactions on the Internet, a new security standard is currently being deployed in France: 3D Secure.
Its purpose is to reduce the risk of fraud via a procedure that authenticates card holders with their bank.

An objective: to reduce the risk of fraud.
In order to avoid a transaction being rejected because a customer disputes the purchase with his/her bank, banks are now checking customers’ identity.
In addition to the number, validity date and security code, with the 3D Secure system, card holders must identify themselves to their own bank by supplying a code or item of personal information.

What is 3D Secure?
It’s a system implemented by the two Visa and MasterCard bank card networks in order to authenticate bank card holders.
With the regulations being changed on the 1st October 2008, French banks are deploying 3D Secure with all their card holders.
